Fixed wing aircraft for wild life reserve
Dear readers,
What small fixed wing aeroplane would you recommend for wild life reserve patroling can take 3-4 passengers and able to fly in tempratures around 40s with 3 hours endurance |
Britten Norman Islander, they also come in turbine versions. It's a twin(you wont get eaten if a donk quits), its high wing(good views all round and good prop/ground clearance), and its stol, fixed gear and easy to maintain.
|
I would go for a Maule. Single engine, half the cost and noise of an Islander. Lands on a few hundred feet of grass or dirt.
|
And of course you'll be needing a pilot to fly it - can I recommend............ oh never mind - back to the ATPL MET book :)_
