UAV Mail delivery flights in Scotland

Posting here as there isn’t yet a dedicated section for UAV/Drone discussion..

You can see the recent flights on FR24 with cruise altitudes of around 1600 ft. I’m wondering if the aircraft can detect other traffic and if the operators are monitoring the flight path as opposed to just the take off and landing phase?
