DC pro X anr, constant bip

Hello guys,

I have just bought this headset, and I always hear a bip (low frequency), like biiip.....biiiiip..... on the right side.
If I turn my head to the right, this sound stops. It comes back when I turn back my head. It is not a loud sound, just low, but I just focus on it, it bothers a bit after hours.

I figured out that the lenght of this bip depends on how we set the engine power (jet).

Question : do you or did you have this same thing ? is it normal for an ANR headset ? (first experience for me)

Thanks for your inputs!
Best regards

Could be the window heat. I get that on my ANR headset. How it’s caused I have no idea though

Thanks!
yep good remark, I have not thought about it indeed...especially it's an alternate current.
I was closed to send it back, and buy a Bose, but if it is to get the same problem... :/

I haven't had that issue? I'd give Bose a call. I know their service dept in London have been helpful in the past.

I might have missed something, but i believe he is contemplating sending his David Clark back and get a Bose instead?

And no, i haven't heard any window heat noise on both the A20 and the ProFlight. With other headsets i had that issue in the past, but usually as a constant roughly 400hz sound on the ear close to the window, back when i was on the 737.
