Flight log
Hello guys,
A question about the flight log. When should we fill the Landing Mass (which is the TOM - the trip fuel used), in the log ? Is it a flight preparation thing : so in that case the LDM is determined by subtracting the planned trip fuel to the TOM. or an in-flight stuff : before the descent, taking the LDM estimated by the FMS for example, and by doing TOM - LDM , it will give us the trip fuel used (approximately). How you guys proceed? it's just mostly a question about regulation/rules I would say Thanks! |
You should ask your company. I suspect it is used to validate fuel burns for the flight plans, not sure if it is regulatory, no requirement for it where I work. Where I used to work we put in the actual landing weight not the planned weight. |
Thanks for your answer :)
well...actually both way are done in my airline, that is why I wanted to see if there was a rule about it, I haven't find it yet indeed. |
