U.S. FAR

Folks,

Looking for where 14 CFR 23.955 has gone - regarding general aircraft fuel flow.

Can find it in old docs, but no longer in eCFR and no longer on FAA website, part 23 seems now to begin at 23.1457.

Looking for the requirement of gravity feed fuel flow to be capable of 150% of required flow at takeoff.

Hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

Clueless in Dallas.....

There was a major rewrite of part 23 last year. Most of the old regulations are now either as guidance, or ASTM, or some other "advisory" text somewhere. Although the FAA can have a tendency of regarding it's own "advisory" material as pretty much compulsory....

Mad, thanks very much. Will look through some other FAA publications and try to locate. Have been away from FAA land for quite some time, but now have the need to be semi-versed.

Again, grazie!
