Tax relief on ANR Headset
I am looking to buy a noise reduction headset for work. I would be very grateful for any advice about claiming tax relief for an ANR headset purchase without having to complete a tax return.

I think the easiest answer is no, you’d need to compete a tax return. I could definitely be wrong though. Maybe try calling HMRC they’d be able to alter your tax code based on the amount spent etc. Try calling them, they’ve always been really helpful when I have. Additionally make sure you have them add this £1022 FREA to your tax code if you haven’t already. That really is worth calling. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/pprune....5600642871.png |
There’s a template letter in the Balpa tax guide to send to HMRC for claiming headset and balpa subscription tax relief without requirement to complete a tax return. |
