What does STP stand for in telex?

I apologize beforehand if this is not the right sub forum to post this question.

What does STP stand for in telex messages?I have received telex messages from dispatch or crewing containing this abbrev. and never got to figure out what it means....

Tried looking online but no joy..

it means stop. period. full stop.
