Triangle sign in the cabin A320
Dear all,
It just come to my attention there are couples of triangle signs in the cabin somewhere close to the over wing. I couldn't find it what's the purpose of it. And based on my colleague it's called "best view" sign. (If I'm not wrong) |
If you want to have a look at the wings after a deicing for example, from that point is where you can get a proper inspection look at the wings.
|
Your colleague is right! These triangles shows the korrect point to see the markings for the slat- and flapposition if ECAM indication is lost.

Slight thread drift but have you noticed the + marks on the cockbit panels?
(Told they are elec stud locations) |
Corrrect they are the location of the connector for the integral panel lighting.
|
Give them a tap if that part of the panel won't light up.
|
The black triangle is what is referred to as the William Shatner position. It is above the window that has the least parallax error and provides the best position to check the wing for contamination.
|
Excuse me, say that again?
|
I'm a bit concern whether that sign also shown whether that area is a cutting section if we seen from the outside of the aircraft?
Anyway in regard with this triangle sign do you guys have any references? Thanks in advance. |
See the response from IFixPlanes above.
