BAe AVRO RJ Lease/Sale?

Have you tried Norwich ?

eiffel 23rd Sep 2014 19:47

thanks. What's their website?

Vick Van Guard 23rd Sep 2014 21:46

No point looking at Norwich. There is only one RJ there and it was being prepped to fly out.

Try these people;

Falko Regional aircraft, sales, leasing, 146, Avro RJ, Jetstream - Fleet

$2 million should buy an RJ with some life left.

Many thanks.

Any leasing company in North/South America offering this type of aircraft?

chevvron 26th Sep 2014 03:47

Plenty in storage in Arizona.

Who own them? I believe the ex-Mesaba (Northwest Airlink) have gone to CityJet few years ago...

Any US lessors?

VictorGolf 26th Sep 2014 09:44

Don't BAe Systems have a subsidiary that was set up to handle this sort of request? I don't have a contact but they were one of the last B.Ae units to be based at Hatfield.

I may be wrong, but having a look at the market, it looks like the AVRO RJ price is more in the region of $3.5M to $4M.
Vick Van Guard, where do you get the $2M figure from?

Jonfra 6th Oct 2014 06:47

I think about a year-18mths ago there were some French BAe-146s offered for sale circa $2m.

dixi188 6th Oct 2014 08:33

Try Falko Regional aircraft, sales, leasing, 146, Avro RJ, Jetstream

eiffel 7th Oct 2014 13:53

Jonfra, AVROs or 146s?... 146s can be pretty old these days...

Falco formed from the BAE leasing dept when it was sold off,
