Going to the SIM without previous trainning, what are the actions to take in case of the following failures?
1.Navigation Accuracy Degrade 2.FMS/GPS Position Disagree 3.FMS1 / FMS2 Position difference 4.FMS /IR Position Disagree |
Too detailed to put in here.
All that info is in our QRH. Or if it's not in yours look in the FCOM. You come in to Pprune for this info? |
1. Discontinue Approach
2. Discontinue Approach 3. Discontinue Approach 4. Discontinue Approach Warning/Caution/Note: I don't fly Airbii. |
It actually depends what you mean by RNP. If its RNP AR or RNAV (RNP). Big difference.
Any position disagree is always a go around because you cannot be sure what is right and what is wrong, you need to go around and sort that out. For any sort of downgrade you can continue in some circumstances in others you have to go around, depends on the type of Approach, whether you are on final (below 100ft.), company SOPs etc. |
I would imagine that you will receive the training required in the sim. If not have a word with your training department!

RNP or RNP AR? Big difference.
