AOC transfer

Is it possible to transfer AOC from one company to another in EASA environment?
I mean that everything will be the same, manuals structure of people, planes... Just company will be different.

Thanks.

AOC transfer

I have a limited experience of this but you can definitely merge AOCs. Depends what context you are talking about but if you mean a merger then yes it's very possible.
If you mean as in simply adjusting processes, proxy and docs and maintenance scheduling to be the same again this is possible but you aren't actually transferring AOC, just copying it !

I meant from one company with AOC to another without. Second company is just a legal entity without AOC. I want to transfer existing AOC because the company with AOC is going to bankrupt.

Simplest way is to 'buy' the AOC company.

BOAC is right, I'd assume a buy out would be the simplest form. If the company you describe doesn't hold an AOC, this would mean they'd have to be audited and I assume would be a larger ordeal than a simple merger.

My knowledge as I said is limited (I'm not a quality department person) and wouldn't have any idea about how you could merge an AOC from a current holder to a new company without an AOC but I guess the non AOC company takes over, and as long as the current AOC holder remains in place (or there is a suitable replacement) and the fleet size and employee size doesn't change I would assume this would be fine as nothing changes in reality, just ownership.

Aka a paperwork exercise.
