WATRS - to plot or not?
Can anyone enlighten me as to whether one needs to use a plotting chart when flying in the WATRS (Western Atlantic Route System)? It appears to be all airways and waypoints as opposed to lat and long positions as in the NAT.

Depends on your airline's procedures. Ours are to plot on all Class II overwater routes, whether airways or tracks.

WATRS is RNP-10 or 4, so if your airline's RNP approval includes using the plotting chart, then it is required in WATRS.
