EASA License
 

Hello everybody,

I am facing a few problems and I hope somebody can give me some advice.

I am a Vueling pilot with UK JAR-FCL license. I have my first A320 revalidation next Sunday and I am very confused about all the paperwork I need to do.

First of all, I do not know when to convert my license to EASA (if I have the chance I would like to do it). And my second problem is the medical. The last two medicals are Spanish but valid anyway as they comply with JAR requirements but I read that for EASA licenses the medical needs to be from the UK authority. I downloaded the SOIL form but it looks a bit complicated as they ask for my last electrocardiograph and a few more things...

So far I know I need the following forms:

SRG1119C,SRG1158 and SRG1187.

I would really appreciate a help on this.

You will need to convert to an EASA license when your JAR CPL is up for renewal.

I think the other form is SRG1104 - This is the one for applying for the EASA licence.

Only noticed your problem today.

You say your are revalidating, if that is the case it should just be a case of the Examiner completing an SRG 2199 and them signing off your Certificate of Revalidation.

It might be worth your while getting the Examiner to confirm your English Language Proficiency.

The SRG 1119C comes into play if the test is a renewal or the Examiner cannot/will not sign your Certificate of Revalidation. if you use the 1119 and hold a JAR-FCL licence then you would need the SRG 1104.

But most Examiners are aware this.


So long as your Medical Records are held by the UK CAA and the AME passes the info to them again you should be OK.
