What is a CSSC with BA?

A friend recently retired from BA as a CSSC but I have no idea what the role is or what it entailed.

So, without looking too stupid when talking to him, can someone on here advise and explain the definition and role of a CSSC with Britsh Airways.

Why not just say to him you don't understand his FLA? I don't.
