PPRuNe seniority
Who are our most senior 'pruners'?
Can't remember how many members there were when I joined back in '98, but a lot has happened since then! Many thanks to Danny & the crew - keep up the good work! /skunks |
If seniority is based on when you signed up, Skunkworks is in the top 10% :)
We reached 30,000 signed up members this month, and we get 22,000 different IP addresses (~= different people) reading PPRuNe each day. --PPD [This message has been edited by PPRuNe Dispatcher (edited 10 March 2001).] |
Ahh, the profile information is not always accurate though! For instance, Wee Weasley Welshman, according to his profile, registered in Feb 2000 although his wannabee posts can be traced back to May 1998.
I seem to remember the great server crash when many "names" were lost and many PPRuNers wwere forced to re-register. |
Can I have a 'Registered Date' like eveyone else please?
Airclues |
No...........she's busy!
|
Captain Airclues...I know the feeling ! Why no 'registered' date for the old boys?
|
Maybe cos they're pre-historic!
I mean that in the nicest possible wy of course :) |
Hmmm,
No Registered Date is in fact the ultimate PPRuNe seniority. In general it means that the person posting was a registered PPRuNer in the far off days before automated bulletin boards and we edited and published everything by hand. Airclues, therefore, is an extremely senior member but happily Danny and myself are Number One and Two on the list and even he can't displace us from our prime positions at the bar during bashes. For a glance back in time to those far off heady days 5 or 6 years ago: http://www.geocities.com/CapeCanaveral/1276/ Sadly the links no longer work but you'll get the idea. Regards from the Towers Rob Lloyd [email protected] PS - Should I be worried that that I'm imortalised as a number two??????? Danny? Danny!!! |
