Im considering relocating to southern Europe, however I realize it might be hard to get a job with a major carrier down south.

Which companies in Europe let you choose where you want to be based. I have heard some operators only require you to live wihtin a certain distance of a major airport.

The other option would be a schedule which would enable you to commute. For example a week(s) on-week off type of sched.
