Multiple Type Ratings
 

So I'm sitting here wondering how to spend my euro millions win, when it comes up, and reckon I'd like to keep in the airline game part time but also keep a light twin in the garage for the weekend run to the sun. Phenom 100 or something equally modest.

So the scenario is, I'd have to maintain my type rating in order to continue the airline stuff, but also I'd need a type rating for my pride and joy.

In the UK, is it possible to keep and maintain two or more type ratings?

AFAIK, you can have up to 3 current Type Ratings at the time in euroland. There are no such limits by FAA. All these I remember reading here on Pprune, so not 100 percent sure about it.

The CAA state when you get your intial T/R you have to do a minimum of 50 hours on type before you can strat mixing types! JAA / Euroland ops may differ
