TAF decode, any one knows this one?

TX01/18Z TNM01/03Z means....?

I believe it relates to temp forecast as it also appears on LFPG,LFKT,EYVI.

Shame when you check METAR that temps already lower.

TX ?????
TN ????? as to actual meaning.

Need to speak to meto to find out.

It`s an option like icing or turbulence indices.
Most decode sources eg Aerad (sorry now Thales ).

Nope about France, it must be an ICAO thing as I have seen it here in South Africa before - also wondered what it meant.

Bloody cold. Our area forecasts in SW OZ dont see negative until 10000'.

The Tmin/Tmax field (e.g. TX01/18Z TNM01/03Z) has been part of the WMO FM51 TAF standard format since about August I think, and is used in a number of places, though not the UK

Really a good thing, because the temperature is quite relevant in many met issues, so why not put it in a TAF when you can hear it in all other weather forecasts ?
