Can anyone help me with information on good/bad schools in florida?

Gone West
Thanks for your reply, I would like to get my PPL :) |
I started my ppl in the uk, but after 40 hours of stop start training due to weather, instructors running away to join airlines, my own busy schedule, etc, I went to the states to complete my caa course.
I chose Naples Air Center. I found them to be good and have no complaints. However, please be aware that with a licence gained in the US, when you return to the uk you will have some significant gaps in your understanding of how things work over here. I know, I had to quickly learn the American way of things whilst preparing for my GFT. I even failed at the first attempt because I had not fully understood how the system worked. My advice, for what it is worth, if you are successful in the US when you return spend a few more hours with a flying instructor in the uk. You will need it. Good Luck |
