First Officers - How many hours a month do you fly?
Just wondering how many hours a month you boys rack up. To get you started, a mate of mine:
TP F/O SE based: Did 70 last month (60 is average). How many stand by days? 6 for him! This this normal? [This message has been edited by Crab Fat (edited 13 June 2001).] |
I think you need to explain a bit more about what this has to do with Wannabes. While I decide whether to send this to 'Questions' and you think about your reply, here's a start for you:
Virgin 742 F/O. Between 45 and 90 hours/month. Most months have 5 days on standby, usually called. ------------------ Scroggs Wannabes Forum Moderator [email protected] |
About 85 hrs a month, 5 standbys, rarely called (low cost B733).
More for the Questions forum I think. WWW |
....and when does O/T kick in? Or are you paid a flat monthly, regardless?
|
Who do you fly for WWW ? or is that classified ??

Scroggs,
I agree a slightly inappropriate question for Wannabe's, but I thought your answer was a little high brow. No offence. Glad it is in the right place now though. As moderator I guess you see a lot of daft stuff, but a lot of these guys are new to this field. we should all try and remember that....we all had a very limited and hazy knowledge in the past....therefore we should be encouraging, not disparaging! As for me: Charter 757 F/O. NW based. Line training, but expect 15 to 16 days or so in the season now, with I guess a few standby's once fully on line. 80 to 90 hours a month i reckon . Sorry to sound defensive of the other fella earlier, but........ |
F/O LGW shorthaul fleet.
