Jeppesen IAP Charts

Hi, I have a question about the meaning of MDA(H) (CONDITIONAL) in the Briefing Strip. What's the meaning of (Conditional)? I was looking at the Introduction pages , but no answer. Any Help?
TIA

Haven't got the official definition here but I believe it is usually a conditional MDA(H) based on Go Around performance - with a specified mimimum climb gradient hidden somewhere in the text. Better G/A avg clb gradient will give the lowest MDA(H).

Of course, I could be wrong!

Briefing Strip vs. Minimums

This has come up many times since Jepp's introduction of the briefing strip. There are two scenarios I remember seeing.

One concerns pilot/company qualification, while the other requires specific procedures.

The briefing strip might state that the ILS DA(H) is XXXX'(200'), but if you look at the minimums section at the bottom of the page you will see that in order to use mins below 250 feet you must be an authorized air carrier.

This was previously true for Mexico City, but now most of our Jepps are tailored for our operation, and therefore such a conditional DA is not necessary (all in our operation are qual'd to the lowest Cat I mins).

The other type was seen at Detroit where the ILS to one of the runways required special authorization to be flown to the lowest mins. If I remember correctly, the requirement was to use the Auto Pilot or Flight Director to DA.
