Zoltar,

Two years I experienced an engine failure which resulted in a forced landing on a mountainside. Without having some specifics from your own situation, it's hard to relate the two, or provide any meaningful direction.

If you are in legal jeopardy, I would strongly counsel you to speak with an attorney and not divulge your case here. If you aren't in legal jeopardy, then perhaps you might give us the details here. We can't discuss your situation if we don't understand it.

If authority in question is DGAC in France you had better convert to another licence quick.
In France the state is always right, and French colleagues have always described to me the DGAC as being totally intransigent, look at history of Airbus accidents and subsequent conclusions. If you crashed a US manufactured aircraft you might be in with a chance.
I think you need a good avocat who can find the relevant legislation. Law is applied very differently in different countries.
I seem to remember reading that the Captain of the Brittania 757 that crashed in Girona in 1999 flew again, but no guarantee that 9 years later he would not have had his licence pulled. Public opinion changes all the time too, so it is all becoming more weighted against a compassionate decision.
Find a good solicitor/avocat, case history ( particularly in another country ) is meaningless to the outcome of your case.
Good luck.

Again, without specifics regarding your case (and some better language translation), it's very hard to address your comments.

I was in the same position myself, as stated before, but without knowing more about your case, it's hard to draw parallels or give you any information.
