Question that's been bugging me for a while.
On several airlines I've travelled on recently (BA, TAP, Lufhansa) on the moving map screens in the pax cabin (you know the ones that tell you where you are, altitude, OAT etc) why is Stansted shown as being South East of London..... roughly where Biggin would be.
Can someone fix this ?....it's driving me mad. |
Try this from the BBC.

Were you upside down ?

The airport has been mis-named. It is of course London Lashenden/Headcorn. I understand the new baggage system works a treat.

That news article is a year old. Good to see BA are taking swift action.
I'm sure though I've seen this on other airlines. |
Noticed it on a BA bus a week ago - glad to see BA management action in good time.
