4 engined TP's??

Hello people,

Have just been reading Pilot magazine's article on 'Getting a commercial license'. Was just a tad confused by something the author mentioned towards the end when discussing salary expectations.
He mentions a typical salary figure for crews on 4 engined Turboprops? Is he aware of some civilian used 4 engine turboprops that I'm not aware of?
Granted, there are probably a few civvy C-130 Herky Birds somewhere in the world, but they're hardly common are they?

Any suggestions?

ETC

Hmmm, well the Lockheed 188 Electra has four engines, and a nice flying aeroplane it is...:}

As it should be...it's a Lockheed.:)

Maybe the odd Viscount still in operation, and the deHavilland Canada DH7.

Does the Fokker F54 count? :}

I'm starting to detect a slight Lockheed bias in your posts! ;)

Yes, the Dash 7 with 4 Pratt & Whitney PT6A-50 Turbo Props. Currently being operated by Greenlandair, among others.
