CAA ATPL to FAA ATP
Can anyone please tell me what is required to obtain FAA ATP and
whether or not there are any exemptions having a UK ATPL. Thanks in advance. |
I did the FAA ATP this time last year, and No, there are no exemptions (I have a CAA ATPL and 6000 hrs). Assuming that you have enough hours, you have to take both the written and the flight tests. I used Gleim for the written and did the flying work with these guys - http://www.atpflightschool.com/ I did the short version (1.5 - 2 hours of flying), which was intense, but got me what I wanted.
Hope this helps. |
