Jumpseat Trips

They are dead and gone yes?

I have heard rumours that ATC may be allowed back for fam flights etc. Do any UK airlines allow a suitable wannabe to be allowed to experience this? Or is it still very much illegal under the CAA, post 9/11?
Thanks in advance
