mass balance question

hello,

would anybody be so kind to help me with this type of question, ad what in doing wrong?

Before a cargo change is made; the following information is known about an aircraft:Aircraft Weight: 79000 kgsCG: 29.5% of MACLength: 860.2 to 1040.9 INIf 3250 kos of cargo is removed from an average location of station 1170.0 inches; what is the new CG relative to MAC?

however im getting 23.65%
mac is at 53.3 which puts it at 913.5, 256.5 is the dif in stations to 1170
im basically doing 79000x = 3250*256.5
whichi is 10.55 forward movmet so vg is 42.75 = 23.65%

what am i doing wrong?
thanks!

Almost... but after you drop your 3250kg of ungrateful paratroopers over the wrong DZ, the aircraft now has only 79000 - 3250 = 75750 kg acting through the new CG... so 75750 x = 3250 * 256.5 will then give you 23.4%.
