Valid ATPL conversion to PPL or NPPL
I have been trying to find info (unsuccessfully) from the CAA website and they are not responding to emails so any guidance would be helpful.
Briefly I have a valid current (A320) UK issued EASA ATPL with SEP (expired) rating and Class 1 medical.
I reach 65 next year and therefore the ATPL becomes void but I expect to revalidate my SEP shortly. I have never held a UK PPL - my ATPL was my initial licence
So the question is how do I get a NPPL or PPL issued or can I?

Your ATPL is valid for life, you just can’t fly for the purpose of public transport. As long as you can hold a class 2 medical you just need to revalidate your SEP as a class rating on your ATPL, and you can then execute the privileges of the rating.
