A380 hard take-off

Hi guys recently I flew with an Emirates A380 and I have to say it made of the toughest take-offs in my life departing from DXB. Basically the aircraft had a 5-second struggle shaking quite badly immediately after losing contact with the runway. It was my first flight with the A380, are these kind of „hard” take-offs normal or was it something else, like an overweight issue or weight misproportion?

I've always thought these were a result of an out-of-balance tire, spinning after lift off, causing the vibration. Harmless but annoying.

But I could be wrong. I'm not a mechanic or a big-airplane-driver.

A couple of our 76's get terrible nose wheel shimmy on lift off. It feels like a strong vibration right through the airframe until the nose wheel is stowed. You may have experienced this on the 380.

Generally, one of the first actions (within seconds of T/O) upon gear first sequence of (milliseconds) retraction is a burst of hydraulic pressure to the main wheels to arrest spin, if you were located up front there is a mechanical device that stops the wheels on tire friction. This can be noticed on most aircraft as a vibration if worn or other tire abnormalities. Only thing that comes to me from the tech side.
