Unhappy What's up with SAA

What’s happening at SAA?
Rumor has it, seven years as a boy- pilot, then you become a Captain!

What happened to seniority?

What's the deal with Direct entry Captains? Not that I'm interested!!!

What do you mean?

There has been some seniority adjustments done, in the name if Employment Equity, to keep the government happy. It was quite an involved process, and seniority was adjusted for a few white females, and one black male.
The black male was released to the line as a captain in January. He had been a domestic FO for about 5 years, and a B747 FO for about 2 years.
Of the white females, two were broght up to command seniority.

DEC is a bit of a dream from the 5th floor, there is no sign of it occuring. If it were to happen, there would be no FOs to crew the AC, and we all know how dangerous it is to have two Captains fly together
