Pre-determined Point vs. Isolated Aerodrome
Just wondering:
What is the difference in fuel policy, according to EU-Ops regulations, between the isolated aerodrome fuel policy and the pre-determined point fuel policy. I just can't tell the difference, since fuel required for the pre-determined point destination fits the definition of an isolated aerodrome and, moreover, an operator, according to new regulations, has to route an isolated aerodrome flight via a pre-determined point.
On top of this, where exact do you want to put this pre-determined point en-route? And what are the weather planning minima for a pre-determined destination? The same as for an isolated aerodrome?
