Talking What's Your Best Logbook Entry?

I was having my logbook checked by an American CFI prior to a Biannual Flight Review. He saw an entry for a flight from Denver to Boston in an RF3, time 0:30! He was very impressed. I just kept him guessing, not letting on that it was Denver (Norfolk) to Boston (Lincs), and the RF3 is a motor glider capable of 90 Knts max!

"Photographic formation - Vicker's Vimy". Yes, the original replica (1969) with the rebuilt Eagle engines. Now in the RAF Museum. The press had lots of cameras. Me, I had none!!

Thumbs up

Atlanta to New Orleans.

What's so special bout this route? In the remarks section I've got Dana Delaney's autograph! (US Actress, and quite cute).

She was a first class pax to the "Big Easy". Also gave her a quick tour of the flight deck after landing... Well, OK, she only asked one or two questions.

In the maintenance logbook I once wrote a co-pilot up:
"Firts Officer talks back"

Under corrective action, MX wrote "Should be replaced with a lower time unit"...

Kinloss - HMS Ark Royal - Kinloss and same again next day.

But in a civvy machine (S61) thats a teensy bit unusual.

The on-deck photo in my logbook is annotated, "With thanks to NAAB, for absolutely bugger-all"

Up yours, Cdr Smith & Lt Cdr Jones!

I've landed a 172 at Hugh Hefners playboy result in North America in winter. Unfortunately no snow bunnies to be seen.

Favorite Maint. log entry. Heard loud bang on climb out. Returned for landing at xxx. Maint. sign off. Remove and replace #1 engine. New memory item... no crossword puzzles below 5,000 feet.
