FCI'S and Ops Manual
Hi Guys,
Not sure if this is the right forum or not but a quick question...
If a company brings out an FCI which has an "effective until" date on it, and after that date the FCI is not incorporated into the Ops manual does that mean that it is not technically valid?
Regards,
Meg

I agree with Flight Detent, that would be the only reasonable interpretation, not just in aviation, but in all walks of life.
An "effective until" date obviously covers a temporary situation, e.g. aerodrome works in progress scheduled to be completed by the specified date. (Not to be confused with an interim undated instruction pending insertion into normal operating manuals etc.).
