CAP 407 logbooks - old style.

Hello,
I know they werent everyones cup of horlicks, but does anyone have an unused old style CAP 407 logbook they will sell to me?
I have just finished logbook 4 and was keen to keep on with the same series of logbooks. None of the usual suppliers have them, just the current smaller version.
I would ideally buy several if anyone has them, and carry on as I have been.
Please PM or reply here.
Thanks very much.

CRX.

Did you have any joy with the 'Old style' CAP407, as I find myself in the same boat?

When I popped into the shop a while ago they only had the half sized 'mini me' 407's stocked.

My 4th and current CAP407 is now half size and looks like it is going to be the first of a few more before I retire in 20 odd years from now

Bob, that is the new one. The old one is much bigger. I was keen on getting hold of an old one, partly because it fitted inot the nice leather cover I had for it. Then I discovered the Hong Kong CAD 407 is the same size, bought that and am now happy. And it only cost HK$80 (about seven squids) but has different columns to the old and new CAP 407s.

I've got two CAD 407(Hong Kong equivalent) if you're interested. They are the same size, format almost the same, £7.50 each.

Tha CAD have currently run out. I suspect some more are on order to be printed.

They are slightly different to the old CAP407s. The have two extra columns for P2X day and night and no separate simulator section in the back. Sims are logged in the main sectiona nd there is a separate coumn for that.

P2X is a rating peculiar to HKG. It's cruise pilot flying for those who have the appropriate P2X rating.
