saddam pilot

Hi Cockpitwizard,

Don't waist your $$$ on something like that, I know this pilot and his daughter is writing the book to make some $$$$ so she can enjoy more money in her bank, her father was one of senior pilot in Iraqi airways and he was a ruthless guy but he was close to the dictator.
Fly safe and spend your $$$ on a (beer).

Saddam's Pilot

Thanks Flyinghawk, this one apparently written by a genuine
guy who wrote it with another pilot and a co-author and it
seems (what I have heard) a very good story. The one you mentioned
has nothing to do with this guy. I have checked
www.babylonpublishing.com and it will be active soon

Any info please past on here
Thanks

Saddam

Hi Cockpitwizard,

I saw the front of the book and saw the name of the author, Ali Al-Wahabi which he was a F/O on the B-747 SP which was belong to saddam, but he doesn't know much because he left Iraqi Airways back in 1985 after serving the airline for about 10 years. I guess he was trying to SQUEEZE his brain and ask questions from the rest of the pilots who were flying inside Iraq to come up wit this book.
Drink beer instead.
Fly safe

Met Ali and his co-author in HKG years ago. Both fine aviators and gentlemen. Awaiting the book, but hope it has his view of his A320 excitement in HKG! PM from either Ali or CM welcome.
Fly safe
