CAA to JAA Performance - What do I need to do...

So a number of years ago I completed my ATPL exams under the CAA syllabus but skipped the old performance 'A' and just did the performance 'E'. Worked as an FI and converted my CAA BCPL to a JAA CPL/IR which I now hold.

Question 1, Do I need to still sit the JAA performance exam if I have the licence in my hand??

Question 2, Assuming the answer to Q1 is Yes, there are two application forms, one for the Theoretical Knowledge Examinations (SRG1108) listing all the exams and another for an Additional performance examination (SRG1149) - Which one should I use.

I have searched for this info in Lasors and the CAA website, tried to call the CAA and ran into brick walls on all routes in! Any one else in or been in a similar situation - Any advice would be gr8..

Cheers chap and chapesses.

The old CAA Perf A exam no longer exists. You will have to do the new JAA Perf exam to get theoretical knowledge for all perf categories including Class A.
