USA and age restrictions

Hello,
This is a aviation orientated question really :)

I'd just like to know what the minimum age limit is when travelling over to the USA to do flight training.

I'm 16 now and I'll be 17 when I go over there, but will I be able to go alone? Or will I require a parent to come with me?

Thanks

Ian_Wannabe,

At the age of 17 you will be able to travel to the U.S. and train without the need of parents.

Happy Flying,

You should be fine, my only concern would be if you have to sign any legal document (i.e. contract, renters agreement, ect) you will not be able to do this until you are 18. I had to get my parents to do that for me!
