What routes?

I am currently doing my PPL after gaining a scholarship with GAPAN. I am also studying aeronautical engineering at QUB. I would really appreciate it if anyone out there has any advice on my best route to becoming an airline pilot. All advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
