CPL Currency Requirements

Haven't got access to LASORS at the moment, so could anyone confirm the requirements to keep a JAA CPL current?

Regards,

MB

There are no currency requirements for a CPL per se. It is valid for 5 or 10 years (depending on which one you went for at issue), renewal involves paying our good friends at the CAA a large wedge.

However your class and type ratings in the licence do have currency requirements.

Exactly Foghorn.

The only real currency required by the CAA is 'Pounds Sterling'.

Cheers,

That is pretty much what I thought. Tried to get the same info off the CAA website - not much help there, even though the relevant bit of LASORS is on line.

Thanks - MB
