Want some Turbine Time in Biggin ?
 

Guys n Girls.

I may have the occassional slot for someone with an FAA PPL or CPL, who wishes to right hand seat for me on trips around the UK and into Europe.

It would give good experience to someone who is perhaps Biggin or Redhill based who is looking for some turbine experience !

No airways or turbine experience is necessary.

What a cool offer. Intrigued by the FAA bit though. Does the FAA PPL allow co-pilot IFR ops?

Anyone that has the chance of offering right seat rides would be good to do so. I went up in a Platinum King Air 200 when I was training, and it was one of the best trips of my life.
I may have the chance to offer a ride in a C208B, but it's only a maybe at the moment, as the boss will often come along.

Good point about the PPL/CPL issue, perhaps I can clarify.

Th aircraft is US Registration, certified for single pilot ops and is operting privately not commercially.

I should add that the aircraft is also EFIS.

I have been told that the second seat can be filled by any FAA Licence holder , but maybe this informatin is incorrect, - but I dont think so !!

I would have thought that if it is certified for single pilot then anyone without a licence at all could sit in right hand seat?? Correct me if I am wrong.:confused:

Appologies for any confusion caused. I didn't know if it was single pilot. Basically, yes you are right. If it is single pilot rated then no problemo - but obviously the right seat guy can't log their time. With regard to JAR PPLs, only IR rated pilots may take the right seat in a multi-crew ship regardless of commercial or private ops.

Great offer though. Wish I could take it up!
