Aka the 'involuntary' nervous system, responsible for control of heart beat, sweating, salivation etc. In humans it's possible to bring parts of it under conscious control... with training! But under normal circumstances it IS self-regulating <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

then as the Autonomic Nervous System is an important BASIC element in medical education. e.g Controls the heart rate It crops up early in physiology anatomy and pharmacology !!!! Which medical school is he at ? |
