FAA registered schools in the UK

Does anyone know if there are any FAA registered schools in the UK. I need to take the FAA commercial written before going back to the states early in the new year. Also it would be nice to go somewhere where they don't turn there noses up at my FAA IR.

Cheers ;) ;)

People who turn their noses up at your FAA IR are just jealous ! Because you can do the IR in the States for £3500 as opposed to £12000 for the JAR one....

Sorry, can't help much, though I know there's a guy in Norwich who can do all the lazergrade exams etc...

When I was looking for a US registered flight school in UK, faa.co.uk NEVER returned my calls, emails etc. I think they have gone bust now....

Try gloucester. They used to do a two day course, don't know if they still do.

Silks I heard Gloucester had gone under as well, I tried them first for my ground exams but never returned the calls. Apparently the guy was running a commercial operation as well and the school was just a sideline - hence why I ended up driving all the way to Norwich!!

Julian.
