MEP and IR renewal in Florida
 

Suppose I found myself in Florida later this year would anyone know if and where I could renew my MEP and JAR IR. The closer to Orlando the better.. .. .I presume this will be a cheaper way of doing it than in the UK.

I thought that you were required to obtain/renew the IR within European airspace?. .. .Mutt.

I believe you need to obtain the IR in a JAR country on a JAR plane with a JAR CAAFU examiner.. .. .For the renewal I believe you just need a JAA examiner. I am not sure the ac even needs to be G reg. I await correction.
