Jerez / Oxford

Hi all,
Now i'm sure this subject has been raised before, but i'll ask again anyway.
I notice that the BAE Systems course in Jerez leads to the issue of a CPL I/R, and not a fATPL, where as the Oxford course leads to the issue of an fATPL.
This will sound stupid, but essentially what is the difference, and I assume that to fly for an airline, I would need an fATPL?

The BAE course will be for CPL/IR with ATPL theory, colloquially known as a f[rozen]ATPL, which is exactly the same as Oxford.

To fly as captain of an airliner you need an ATPL.

Do the ATPL exams and the CPL/IR flight tests and you meet all the requirements of an ATPL apart from the experience.

You are saved doing the CPL/IR ground exams if you have the ATPL ground exams passed.

You end up with the same from both, there again you end up with the same from all of the "modular" schools too for half the price.
