Hi,

I would be grateful if any of the guys who have 'recently' been for their aptitudes could tell me the no. of questions and times allocated for each of the following: (as recently I have heard various things)

Numerical: 25 questions, 12 mins
Verbal: 52 questions, 25 mins

Quickfire subtraction: 30 questions, 5 mins
Psychometric (profile) test: 300 questions, 1 hour.

I went in January and if I remember rightly its,
Numerical 25 question in 12 mins
Verbal 40 questions in 15 mins (bit unsure about that one though)
Phychometric is 300 questions but it isn't timed. Most of us finished in around 40 minutes.
Quickfire subtraction isn't a set time limit but it is against the clock. It's part of the Micropat tests but I cant remember how many questions it was. I think it was 30, to complete as fast as you can but with no set limit.

and.... can anyone tell me if they let you scrap paper for your workings on the numericals or is it all mental??

From what I remember, yes you are allowed to use scrap paper for the numerical exercises!!
