Book needed on Climateology
 

Howdy folks.

Can anybody recommend a suitable book to read over the festive period on Climateology that would supplement the ATPL notes, in particular the OATS notes.

Just in case I get fed up with the re-runs of Only Fools and Horses, god forbid!

Try Meteorology for Pilots by Mike Wickson. The chapter on Climatology is spread over 79 pages, thorough and to-the-point.

Its pretty hard going though. Good luck...

Try the imaginitively titled " Climatology for Airline Pilots" by Roy Quantick. Transair sell it in their catalogue. Excellent book, though well beyond thr ATPL standard that I remember.

Agree, Mike Wickson's book is very good - it really sorted out met in my head.
