Triple A Or TayFlite

Hi im gonna do my IR early next year and im currently torn between Tayflite and YTriple A. Ive heard lots of good things about Triple but I havent really heard much about them yet? Anyone trained with them?

The single most important thing is that you feel most comfortable with where you are going to spend a significant amount of money. If you havent done so yet, visit both schools and get a feel for the atmosphere and the "vibe". Talk to students that are there at the moment, and if possible find some ex-students (maybe through this website). It is important that you feel comfortable with the training establishment and the instructors.

I did my CPL/ME at Triple A and can certainly recommend them. Give them a call and arrange to visit. Do the same with Tayflite. It may be a bit of a journey for you but a small investment of time and money now may pay dividends later on.

Best of luck.

I converted my ATPL at Tayflight. I've recommended them before. Use the search function & you'll find a few (good) comments about them, including mine.

Tayflight..not to be confused in any shape or form with Tayside!!!=

Good instructors

Nice Place

Nice aircraft

excellent sucsess rate

some of the best flying areas available with sod all landing fees etc

good financials...won't (or shouldn't) go bust on you.

But as with has been said here before,... negotiate a 'pay as you go' deal.

Know nothing of YTA however, who may well be every bit as good, but would have to go some!

Good luck
