The future must be bright...but is it orange?

EasyJet have recently announced plans to purchase up to 75 A/C during the next 5 years. Ryanair has been going from strength to strength and Go looking pretty good too. What does the future hold for wannabe’s? How likely is it that all future short-haul travel will be with the low-cost carriers?

I personally think the majors will soon begin phasing out smaller types, so the likelyhood is future wannabe’s starting off their careers with low-cost carriers.

Is it feasible that one day even EasyJet may begin sponsorship or part sponsoring? (not that I’m hanging around <img src="rolleyes.gif" border="0"> )

There was some talk 2 years back that Easy were thinking about starting a cadetship of some kind. Nothing has been mentioned since as far as I know.
