Air traffic Control

I have a question for any ATC people out there, i am considering applying for a trainee position Air Traffic controller in all aspects of ATC operations.

I am a private pilot with over 10 years flying all over Australia.

What kind of attributes would be preferable for a job as an Air traffic controller.

i am currently an aircraft engineer looking for a career change.

thanks all

If you pop into the "Hop To" box at the bottom right of the page and scroll to the "ATC Issues" headline, left click and you will no doubt have a good array of ATC specialists who, with their knowledge, can no doubt help you out.

Hope this helps, VFE.

Edited as I just read this post and realised that you are not a novice at computers (unlike me!) and so do not need a silly briefing on how to use this site!
Apologies.
