i was just flicking through the transair catalogue and was thinking of buying one of the books on becoming an airline pilot and the interview process etc. has anyone read any of them and are they any good?

The only one worth buying is The guide to getting a commercial pilots licence by Clive Hughes. The others are either written from the American prospective or concentrate on the old CAA system.

Good luck,

NO !

There are several other books which concentrate on the JAA system!

For example 02FO, which I think is a very good book (although written in an annoying, slightly arrogant manner).

However, I do agree that the best one is Clive Hughes' book.
